Hello Bill Reed Middle School Community!

 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! To our 6th grade families, welcome to Bill Reed Middle School! Most of our current 7th and 8th grade families and students are returning, but not all. For those of you who are starting at Bill Reed Middle School for the first time, this is a fabulous place, and I am absolutely certain, like me, you’re going to love it here! And lastly, to all of you who are returning to Bill Reed, WELCOME BACK! It’s my 2nd year here, and I am so very glad it’s with you!

 

My name is John Kleiber, Principal of this amazing school. This is my 2nd year as principal here at Bill Reed Middle School, my 10th year in the Thompson School District, and my 20th year in education (15 in school administration). I am the proud father of three amazing children. My son Michael is in his doctoral program for pharmacy at the University of Wyoming. Nathan is in school to be a pilot, and my youngest, Ava Jo, is heading into 6th grade just like so many of your children! My wife, the future Dr. Kleiber, is an educator and is in the process of getting her doctorate! I am a very blessed husband and father! When I am not at home with my family, I am likely to be here! My purpose and joy in this work are found in building a climate and culture in this school that becomes the pride of our community. Bill Reed Middle School is a cut above the rest. We stand behind nobody, and together we will do amazing things this school year.

 

I want to be in partnership with you this year. Please do not fear being “that” parent. When you come to advocate for your child’s needs, I am here to meet you where you are, celebrate with you, or help find resolutions. In the coming days we will update you on all policies and procedures that will help you and me to be consistent in our approach and expectations.

 

There is time yet to share our vision and priorities for the year. For today, know the following: You matter. Your child matters. THIS ALL MATTERS! Let’s go ALL-IN for 2024-2025!
