LUC Latinos Unified in Community

L.U.C. at Bill Reed

LUC, Latinos Unified in Community, is a club that focuses on diversity with an emphasis on Latino culture and needs.    The club is open all students! Students work together to make the latino culture visible at school and community.     Please join us if you would like to learn more about cultural diversity.    
Goals of Thompson School District LUC Clubs:

The Thompson School District LUC school clubs are committed to the support of Latino/a students, but are open to all interested students and staff. The clubs will provide opportunities for skill building and personal growth in the following areas:

  • Cultural Identity and Personal Empowerment

  • Cross-Cultural Appreciation

  • Leadership Development

  • Educational Goals

  • Community Service

  • Academic Support

  • Post-Secondary/Workforce Readiness
